Moving Day

Have to keep this one short because there is a lot of things to do in preparation of moving today.

We started off our day with the normal routine of feeding our pet. When I say "we" I mean Reta feeding him and me taking pictures.

Last night we met a couple next to us and we ended up having a Happy Hour with them. After a few drinks and food we decided to drive over to the beach to watch the sun set. Of course, right?This couple is from Hickory, North Carolina and came down to get away from the cold weather. They are the nicest people with true southern hospitality.It sounded like Hickory is a small "mountain" town tucked back in NC somewhere. The kind of town where you know everyone and their business. We started our Happy Hour around 6 and didn't leave their RV until 2 in the morning we were having so much fun talking. They are in their early 70's and let me tell you, they had so much energy and so many interesting stories to tell. From their relatives driving moon shine to parents washing cloths by hand. From going to school and getting married when they were 17 to the stories of their business ventures. All these stories had twists and turns that you wouldn't believe. What fun to listen and laugh at their stories. Too bad we met them on our last night here.
