We decided to try out a new form of camping. It's called "Boon Docking". Webster defines Boon Docking as "Parking with no hook-ups, such as fresh water, electricity or sewer. Using the motor home as a self contained living entity." We are in Tampa and decided to stay in a parking lot of a store that allows RV'ers to spend the night. Thursday we have a campground reservation nearby where we will spend the next 5 days there. Why are we waiting to get in? Because this campground is about 1/2 the cost of the others we have been staying in, they serve breakfast and lunch (included in stay), they have the morning paper delivered to your site, swimming pool and are only minutes from Busch Gardens. To good to be true? We'll see.
I'll let you know how it all worked out on Friday.
