Charleston, SC

When we woke up this morning we looked at the thermometer and it read 33 degrees and the lake had a thick fog rolling across it. As the sun got higher in the sky the temperature started to climb and the lake came into view. Never having lived close to water it was the greatest thing to see. It's the little things in life sometimes. Stop and smell the flowers type thing.
Had a terrific time in downtown Charleston, South Carolina. It was a little cold but we still had a great time walking around downtown. We hit City Market and walked out on the Pier to see a beautiful view of the bridge and very large air craft carrier across the river. We then walked up Queen Street and had lunch at Poogan's Porch. Very good She Crab Soup! Thanks Deb for the recommendation. That brings up a good point. If anyone knows of some good things or places that we should try leave a comment and we will check it out.

Enjoy the pictures we took.

While Reta was taking her afternoon nap (because that's what we do at our age) I went outside and snapped this picture over the lake that we are facing.

Great photos!!! I see that you do not need to shave every morning. Take care!

Shave? No no no. My current boss approves of the facial hair.
