The weather outside is frightful...

...but in RH it's delightful!

So, how was your day yesterday? Thanks for asking but mine was interesting to say the least. While the ladies went out shopping I mistakenly volunteered to help out around the house. (I know what you're thinking but please keep comments to yourself.) I got to sew. That's right, sew. I thought, "I can sew. I've done buttons before. How hard can it be?" To my surprise Deb showed up with an industrial size needle. I'm thinking "what have I gotten myself into?" Then she hands me a spool of Dental Floss. This, apparently, is what I will use to sew with. Now at this point I am sure you are wondering what the hell is he going to sew. A tooth that keeps falling out? A piece of leather? An elephant with a deep gash?

This is it! Tassels! Because of my "Latin" background I think Deb figured I couldn't mess it up. It turned out so good I'm thinking about sewing some around the windows of RH. What do you think?

Now that isn't the only thing we did. We also helped decorate around the house. Here is a picture of the "Main" tree. If I counted correctly there are a total of 14 Christmas trees around the house. Tonight is the big night of the Christmas Party. I'll be sure to take many pictures and have a slide show for you.

Yesterday for lunch we met Charlie's nephew, Larry. Quickly we realized how close they are when to our surprise they shared a dessert. Good thing they're related. I thought we had taken a wrong turn and ended up in West Virginia.
Did they ask for extra whipped cream? It makes you wonder...but of course, not that there is anything wrong with that!
.
Yesterday we took the RH out to dump the tanks. Here is the big news!!!! The first thing RH took out was a "FLOWER POT"!!!!! I had my co-pilot, Kendall, with me. I told her to watch her side and I would watch mine, as we pulled out of the driveway. Well, I kind of brushed up against a flower pot, on my side. I didn't even knock it over but I did put the first scratch on the RV. Oh well, I'm sure there will be more to come.
.
I know I've said this a few times but tomorrow we are leaving for Tennessee. This times it's real. So the next post will be late Sunday evening.
Stay tuned!
.
(check out the "Joke of the Day" on the right hand column. Patty W sent it to me and I wanted to share it with everyone.)
.
Thanks Evelyn and Johnny for making our holiday better, with your performance.

As you set out, remember that Truckers are your friends, per your Grandmother Norris. Hope you have a CB in Road Hazard.
