Excuse me!

This morning I am sitting here at the table working in the dark since it is only 6 o'clock in the morning. Why so early? Can't sleep cause I'm like a little kid excited about going to an amusement park. I love roller coasters and Busch Gardens is full of them and being only a few miles up the street means that soon I'll be screaming as we soar down vertical drops that leaves you wondering where your stomach went. I am also listening to my favorite radio station, via Internet, when we lived in Rockville. DC101 and Elliot in the Morning. It seems different when they talk about the traffic. Now it's interesting to hear the street names that are so familiar and remember how many hours I spent sitting on them. Now, when they talk about the weather and the cold it's just a distant memory. When I had to wake up in the morning and put on layers of cloths just to make it out to the car.
Yesterday we moved into this campground in Tampa and are surrounded by hundred's of RV's. This campground holds 300 sites plus they have a rally area that can hold an additional 300. There is a RV dealership across the way and it's fun to walk around inside and out of these brand new Road Hazard's. Wow, you can drop some serious money on these house on wheels.
We saw this RV that is called a "Toy Hauler" because the back side folds down so that you can drive your motorcycles or ATV's into it. This person changed theirs into a Dog Carrier. What people spend on their pets is amazing. Funny thing happened to me yesterday while we were inside this dealership. First of all, they allow people to bring their pets into the showroom so there I am reading something when this guy and his horse (aka Great Dane) on a leash walked up next to me. Reta always told me to ignore the big dogs and they will leave me alone so of course I am ignoring this beast. There I am reading when I feel this wet nose on my feet. I look down and I can't see my feet because this horse is all up in me. I look at the guy and say "excuse me!". Nothing, so I step back a couple of feet and this dog follows me and proceeds to smell me in area's that made me feel very uncomfortable. I finally had to say very loudly, "EXCUSE ME!!!!". Finally the owner heard and turned with a look of surprise on his face because here is this dog, backing me up against the display with his head buried in my crotch. Now, imagine the look on my face! My concerned wife could only laugh when I found her to tell her what had happened. Thanks for your support.

We got a chance to drive around the Tampa area.We found Ybor city by accident after I took a wrong turn off the highway. It is an old part of the city that is lined with cobblestone streets with restaurants and night clubs on both sides. We also drove across the bridge into St. Pete and hung out by the water for a little while. It could have been our first sighting of a Manatee. There was a disturbance in the water where something big was pushing the water and there was bubbles but no actual sighting of the animal itself.

This will be home until Monday when we will leave for...
We'll figure it out later.
